Food Review: Cacio E Pepe
Finally posting something up!
A new restaurant has opened near my house (Its walking distance!) NThe name’s Cacio e Pepe. no idea what it means
Its a really unique Italian restaurant as the food takes really long to come! Some people may get really irritated but i tell you, but it is WORTH waiting.
The food is fresly made on the spot after you order. So its not ready made or whatever! Mum dad and i had pasta and we shared a pizza. I’ll put the photos below.

This one’s special! The sauce is very much different from those you eat at any other restaurant. Not very tomato tastin but more beefy. Doesn’t get boring with every bite.
Mummy’s clam wine pasta thing. Look at those shells… The taste of the white wine is very strong *thumbs up*!
Anchovies and Capers! Yumyum but a bit on the salty side! Very carefully done by the chef. Not like the authentic italian chefs – just throwing everything everywhere x)
Tiramisu. don’t try it. That’s the only bad thing of the meal! Too much cream, no taste of the liquor and coffee. Bad bad bad!

kinda have to wait too long but its worth it!
Waitresses are very friendly, making you comfortable waiting and answering in detail whatever questions you ask.
Ambience is great. Lighting is not too bright or dark, kind of romantic. Chairs are rattan chairs, big and comfortable but leave the imprints on your thighs! Simplistic, not much deco (the way i like it!).
I recommend this for kinda authentic Italian food. Kinda pricy ranging from $16-$25 and above but its really worth it. Great taste, fresh and a nice place to be in. Great jazz music as well 
Where its located (one outlet as its new): Gotong Royong. (kinda near SPCA)
How to get there: Take bus 24/76/43/70/70M until How Sun Park stop, cross the overhead bridge and walk down towards Gotong Royong!

Exams are starting in two days and i haven’t really finished anything but i’m excited.
not only that, right after exams my intensive training for the competition is up. Not really looking forward to that but i have to do it!
Sometimes i really wonder why i chose to do the competition. It takes away my holiday time! But its my only chance this year. But i guess it would be fun.. right?
I just got my new violin yesterday. its really something. I’ll get a photograph soon 
I wanna skip YF today to study but mum would probably kill me.

I’ve been watching Bokura Ga ita and at the same time spreading the news that its awesome. I’m too tired to ramble on about it but seriously, go check it out. Slice of Life kinda anime but its really…. got something about it that makes it special. Very relatable. Sadly, the anime covers up to volume 8 of the 12 volumes. Its still not finished and trust me. You’ll be rather upset with the following chapters! The story turns out really sad and tragic. BUT do watch it. Good OST as well and the main girl – Nanami has such a cute voice!
Talking about dreams… i aspire to go to Japan to study and maybe live there. haha. I really want to 
So i’m gonna start taking my Japanese lessons seriously! Does starting a music magazine sound crazy? I was thinking it’d be quite cool if i founded one and voice actors really amaze me.

Holiday Day 2
Today was ultra fun so far!
Went to the nursery with mum and sis and got a new Orchid in my room! I doubt wordpress is gonna work with me so i’m not gonna bother uploading it here. Check out my dA for it Anyway i named it Rima. No idea why, it kinda suited it.
After that we went to Serangoon Gardens Hawker Centre for….. ICE KACANG!!! Oh my goodness it was the best. Shaved ice with syrup, red bean, jelly on a HOT DAY. Or rather sweating in the sun for an hour. It was delicious! YUM. The ice was the finest i had! Now i am back home blogging this and i have to study now -.-
I’m also watching Itazura na Kiss now. At first i thought it was one of those lousy-drawing-anime but its turning out to be a nice story! :O Exciting and funny too But skip beat and ookiku furikabutte is still my number one! *Shiny eyes* haha. Well i’m posting this up late. Supposed to blog about this on Friday but i was too lazy (yeah yeah i’m very lazy)
So i went to SPCA with my sister to play with cats in the cattery. Then the lady volunteering there told us that the cat sleeping on the concrete seat was called MARIO and he was taken away from him mama at a young age so he usually suckles t-shirts. She sat down and showed us what she meant. Then after that i wanted to sit so yeah, i sat behind Mario hoping he wouldnt notice me. BUT!!!!
He turned around and saw me.
He slowly walked towards me and crawled into my lap (YES it was very cute indeed) and he was kinda big and heavy, but at the same time nice to hold He started suckling on my sleeve and it was ticklish yet… i don’t know how to say it but.. nice. :S Made me very happy! I really want to adopt Mario but mum says cats make you get asthma or smth o.o I wish i could visit him soon! He’s such a nice big kitty <3

I snapped along with my BOW
Yes peeps. This is MAH VIOLIN BOW starting from today onwards. The latest fashion of bows ever created.. JUST KIDDING. It snapped today at around lets see 3 30PM? I thought my friend hit it but when i turned to look the bow hair was all loose then did i realise it snapped. Like wow and it was just before my REHEARSAL. I don’t know why but all sorts of negative feelings flooded me. Panic/worry/sad/scared/etc. all at once and i nearly started crying cause i prepared so much for this rehearsal and what i got was a broken bow?! Not many people understand it but.. it was like a symbol of myself.. i pressured the bow (me) too much and it ended up breaking (my emotional breakdown). Gah! I managed to borrow a bow but it was really…. difficult to control… It was so smooth and didn’t produce good sound ugh. Screwed up my rehearsal and I AM SO EMBARRASSED. Violin Teacher lent me another one *thumbs up* so i guess i’m saved. Well lets not touch on the emotional breakdown…
My exam is on 5th August 2009. 3 weeks away from now.
HJ you can do this. You can. Your tough ass scales and sightreading in shining armour will be perfected by then. Plus you three pieces, not to mention the 3rd one is diploma syllabus :O, will be Al Dente! Okay i’m really talking rubbish (Al dente?!)
